I just finished up university where I was studying philosophy and economics and now that I'm free I'm ready to travel the world. Being that I have no serious obligations and a bad case of wanderlust it's just about the perfect time.

I can definitely enjoy bars and nightlife and that sort of thing (trance/psy raves can be a lot of fun), but generally I'm a calm person and I enjoy calmer and cozier activities. Hiking and backpacking are great. Plucking on a guitar. Reading. Talking and laughing with folks.

What else? My most recent idol is Woody Guthrie so I've begun to romanticize the whole hobo lifestyle. This basically means that I dream about hitchhiking, hopping freight and doing manual labor. I don't know what that says about my personality so take it however you will.

And in conclusion I should also add that I'm vegan. I realize that while I'm traveling this is something I may have to compromise, it's still something I very much believe in and it's the ideal to which I will be continually aspiring.

Even if I had all money I could hope for I don't think it would let me experience new cultures and new people in the way that I want to, in the way that I think couchsurfing would let me experience such things.

兴趣

Guitar - I've been trying to learn for a while now. If you have any pointers I'd love to hear them.

Nature - Hiking/backpacking is great, like I said. I've been on the ultralight train for a while now so that's how I tend to operate on all my trips. I've also just made some friends who are into rock climbing so I've been trying to get into that, too.

Philosophy - I'm a philosophy major! Not an expert by any means, but if you want to talk about your pet metaphysical theories then I'm all ears.
