I'm a German-American with Persian roots.

Thanks to my work, I am able to travel about half of the year. I also do Photography professionally, so this makes traveling even more important to me.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Traveling is the desire to step outside your comfort zone, explore the world, meet different people, to be curious, and want to learn and appreciate other cultures. And this is what brings me to CS.

Some of my most memorable interactions occurred when meeting travelers, and I was always able to learn something new.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I accepted a very spontaneous last minute invitation to hike San Gorgonio Mountain in California (this hike takes anywhere from 9-15 hours when done all at once, is about 17 miles long, and +5,800 ft high in elevation)

Without doing much research, I took a ridiculous amount of Photography equipment with me. This made this hike, the most physically and mentally challenging activity of my life, even more challenging.

I was left with my entire body being sore and not being able to move my neck for 6-7 days no matter how many cold showers and pain killers I took.

I'm flexible and like to accommodate the travel goals of my guests.

Personally, I enjoy even the most simple things such as exchanging stories. It's like therapy for me. I'm a very good listener and can also be very talkative.
