About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet and talk with as many people as possible about anything and everything. And to have a laugh... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm just surfing, but would eventually like to offer a couch to help make things easier for travellers, especially in the UK where travel is expensive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet!

Interests

I like being around people. I like to think I can carry a conversation about anything, and I like chatting and getting to know anyone I meet. At the same time I like to have space and peace at times. I'd love to be more spontaneous in life. Making music is my favourite pastime, whether it be in someone's living room, on the beach or on a stage in front of hundreds. I just love it. I'm a Christian and love discussing God/religion/spirituality with people, if they like to. Ultimately I'd like to be someone who has travelled and seen and done a lot, with plenty of stories to back me up :) Also love sport and games, great stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Jane Ayre, Bronte.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Larsson.
Atonement, McEwan.
The Bible, God and a lot of guys.

Music:
Everything.
(Particularly) Imogen Heap, Arvo Part and Eric Whitacre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't pin point just one!
But I suppose one thing that comes to mind is spontaneously stopping to swim in a random huge lake in the South Island of New Zealand, freezing exhilarating water, surrounded by the most beautiful mountains, blues and greys and greens, only a few of us teenagers splashing around and nothing else for miles either way on the road.

Oh, and winning Henley as stroke with my 2009 Rowing squad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been classically trained as a singer for years, and will be finishing my Music degree in 2012.
Have basic piano skills.
Speak basic Italian.

Would love to learn French one day!

Otherwise want to learn generally about different cultures, religions, and politics.
