ABOUT ME

I'm very passionate about most of the things that I pursue. I love writing, travel, running, reading, yoga, my wonderful cat Jah Bebe, and the unique souls I call my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I choose to dance and dream and travel and adventure, all the while sharing my dance and my dreams and my adventures with the rest of the world. Hopefully in the midst of my frantic dance I'll stumble upon "The Secret".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I've only recently joined CS so if you have any ideas of how to help the community feel free to let me know. Until then I'll just be helping people along in their various travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate has been a member for quite some time, so we've hosted a few CSers. I've always had a ton of fun with them and really enjoyed meeting such interesting and diverse people.

Interests

I love reading, writing, ping-pong, running, yoga, a delicious dark beer, music of all shapes, sizes, and sorts, the color orange, jokes, hula hooping, dancing, festivals, cats, laughing until I cry, and creating art of all sorts with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm in to just about everything these days, classic rock, jazz, electronica, Dubstep, indie, funk, brass, reggae, R&B, folk, blues, bluegrass, a tiny amount of country, hip hop, and maybe a smidgeon of rap. If I can dance to it I'll listen to it.

Books: Books! I love them dearly. I'm a reader with an insatiable and monsterous appetite for the printed word. Some of my favorites are Einstein's Dreams, The Island, The Power of One, Island of the Blue Dolphin, Never Let Me Go, The Portrait of Dorian Grey, The Dharma Bums, Galapagos, Atlas Shrugged, The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea and The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've captured a moment completely in a poem, I've watched a storm overtake me from a dock in the center of a bay, and I've seen unbridled joy on the face of my best friend. These are the most amazing things I've ever felt/seen/done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to have the most fun that you possibly can when faced with a new city and a new experience! I'm fairly new here to Austin myself, but I've managed to find quite a few really fun people and things to get all mixed up in and I'm never afraid to try out something new! So we can explore and adventure around together. I also have no problem sharing my activities and interests with others; running, yoga, writing, seeing live music, ect.

I'm also open to learning just about anything. Whatever you're bringing to the table I'm willing to pick up.
