Music, Movies, and Books
Used to like and still can appreciate heavy metal. Can read and watch many things but get my fun mostly from sitcoms like Seinfeld, Family Guy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quite recklessly, my brother urged me up and down numerous steep rocks that I wouldn't climb otherwise. Was quite rash myself in riding a bike at high speeds down very steep slopes.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach languages. Enjoy learning technical things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A roomy tenement flat (in an apartment house) and in summer, a place to stay in the countryside.
First, you don't need a visa for Ukraine or Russia.
I'm in the city near the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Visit that and leave your things to go to explore Ukraine. The Western part deserves the most attention the year round with its mountains, forests, architecture, spa and ski resorts. In the South, the picturesque Odessa with Black See beaches is worth visiting as well. Or venture into the temporarily-Russian Crimea, rich in sights. If you're an adventurous type, head 200 miles east closer to the frontline of Russia's now-sluggish war with Ukraine.
