I'm Matan 36 years old living in an amazing apartment at the center of Tel Aviv near Rabin square, which is a short walking distance from major attractions, bars an exd the beach.

I've travelled the world many times both on long backpacking trips as well as shorter ones. I recently visited Lisbon which was absolutely astonishing and in the past I have had long trips in Australia, New Zealand and most of Europe, where I stayed with some local friends I had met when I lived abroad, as well as some cool hostels.

I enjoy meeting new people and host in my place and like to have people over from all across the globe and give them tips and show them around, as I know first hand how much of a better experience it is to meet the locals.

I currently work as a cyber intelligence analyst and in my free time I enjoy learning new languages, reading on a wide spectrum of subjects and enjoy a drink with friends and people with good vibes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have travelled different places across the globe and I know how great of an experience it is to meet the locals and be shown around and so I love doing that for visitors in my country.

Past experiences with locals in Germany and Finland and other European countries was phenomenal and that is something I'd love to give people coming to my home country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know Tel Aviv and Israel well and can recommend good places to go out and see. I can offer a big couch and a mattress in my living room, which you can close to have privacy. It also has an exit to my amazing balcony. I can also occasionally share a drink with you and show you around town.
