ABOUT ME

Hello travelers, I am a former world traveller who is currently settled in a quiet town an hour outside of Boston with my husband and daughter. I love reading, walking, hiking, cooking and meeting new people. I'm devoted to my teaching and to trying to keep up with what is new in the world. I love local history and am even a former tour guide who is quite familiar with the rich history of this area...home to the Alcotts, Emerson, and of course Henry David Thoreau.

I love learning about others and what makes them tick. I love spending time cooking and talk with friends. I love travel..and I love to cross country ski, kayak gallop across an open field on a really fast horse...all things I do not spend enough time doing, I also love a great novel, work of non-fiction, or movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in the Philippines...being away from the martial world, living with people who had less stuff and more grace and good humor ..inspiring,

Traveling from Istanbul back to London during winter break, 1984-85, visiting the Eastern block counties and seeing them up close...amazing.
