My name is Matea and I am an adventurer. I love travelling, exploring, discovering new places, trying out new food, meeting new people. I am very communicative and open-minded. My goal is to travel the world in order to become a truly global citizen. I want to delete all the prejudice about other nations, countries that we all grew up with. I also love to dance and party but at the same time to chill and have deep conversations. My wish is to enjoy life because it is beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe this is the best way to meet the locals and the best way to learn about the culture, life, mindset of the people actually living there. I am so happy that this was invented because we all get the chance to experience the place in the best possible way and to make friends for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm... a tough question but I would have to say moving 2200km from my family, Croatia to Denmark to study. That was the scariest and definitely the best decision in my life. By doing this I have learned so much about myself, my comfort zone, my family and friends... I discovered a completely new side of myself.
