Hello! I´m currently taking a semester off from college to explore! I´ve spent some time in the American West and I am currently doing work trades and using couch surfing to explore España. I´ve worked as an au pair and on organic farms. Very different experiences which I have enjoyed immensly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am currently attending school, I would never have enough money to travel through Europe without using couch surfing and doing work trades. I also love, as I´m sure most couch surferers do, to see the differences and similarities between cultures. I live right next to NYC and I hope that the friends I make while traveling will be able to visit me when they travel as well. I love the idea of having a network of friends all over the world.

Estoy en escuela ahora entonces no tengo mucho dinero. Sin couchsurfing, no podía viajar mucho. También, como toda la gente que usa counchsurfing, me encanta el idea de tener un intercambio de culturas. Yo vivo al lado de NYC entonces, ojala que los amigos que haré cuando estoy viajando, vayan a visitarme cuando viajen también. Me encanta el idea de un red de amigos que cubre el mundo.

Interests

I love to hike and canoe and generally be outside. I am also interested in permaculture, organic farming, and other farming methods. I love languages though I only speak English and some Spanish. I am currently at the very beginning stages of learning Portuguese and French.

Me gusta el senderismo y el canoa y estar en el medio ambiente. También tengo interés en el permacultura, agricultura orgánica, y otros metidos de la agricultura. Me encanta aprender idiomas. Ahora solo hablo ingles y un poco de español. Estoy aprendiendo portuguese también.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rafted the Grand Canyon for three weeks on a private permit. People usually have to wait 15 to 20 years to get a permit but I was lucky enough to have a friend who got one.

Pasaba tres semana en el Grand Canyon en una bolsa. Usualmente, la gente necesita esperar por 15 a 20 años para una licencia pero uno de mis amigas lo recibió.
