ABOUT ME

I love travelling and all kind of outdoor adventures like rock climbing, trekking or canoeing - this reflects my deep passion for nature. On my journeys, however, I'm not interested only in the look of the country, but rather in the character of its inhabitants, their habits and lives and dreams.

I also enjoy listening to the live music or playing it myself. I am really into science right now, but the scientific/rational approach is often balanced by my artistic/emotional side. Being somewhere between an extrovert and intravert will also give you a picture of my personality (or maybe not). You see, it's really difficult to describe myself :)

PHILOSOPHY

The wisest thoughts will usually come up from the dialogue, so let's give it a try some evening. Otherwise I am trying to be sceptical and to think about everything, and also to remember that it's all about point of view and relativity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel a lot with my girlfriend in summer, so we are very thankful for every coach. I would like to host too, but I don´t have a very suitable space, although better times are on the horizons as we are moving into a new room in a shared flat in Prague.

Here I want to apologize to all those of you who asked for a couch and to whom I haven't replied - for about one year I've read just the messages and haven't noticed the requests! And I've received no notifications about that...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I usually hitchhike, when I travel, it is hard to guess the exact time of reaching my destination, so that is why I haven´t done proper CS yet. BUT many people I (or we) took a ride with were so nice and kind, that they offered us to sleep at their place, and it was always a great experience, we had a good time, a possibility to talk and better know each other. I´m looking forward to do this again, here on CS.

Couple of hitch-hiking trips across the Europe with my friend, girlfriend or alone in summers 2011-2013. From Brittany to Plitvice lakes and from the Pyrenees to Hardangervidda.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some songs on guitar or just to sing, how to tie a rope when you go rock climbing or where to start and how to prepare for your hitch-hiking adventure. If you are interested in Czech or Slovak cuisine or languages, I can show you some recipes or teach you a couple of handy words.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My culinary skills developed during my semester study stay in a shared house in Sheffield, my passion for guitar-playing (if there is guitar somewhere around), funny and sad stories from my journeys and life, good mood and a an enthusiasm to discuss various topics and share our experiences and wisdom!
