ABOUT ME

I come from Slovenia. I'm a student of electrical engineering. I really enjoy travelling and meeting new people. I love sports, hanging out with my friends, traveling and exploring new places/people/emotions. I try to enjoy the journey rather than the goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've heard from my friends about some pretty awesome experiences, so I've decided to give it a shot. I live in surroundings of Ljubljana, cca 25min from the city centre by bus (every 10min or so) and similar by bike. I live with my parents and sister. We have a room that would be suitable for couchsurfing. It has a couch for one or two persons.

If you're up for a drink or something and I have time, I can't think of a good reason not to hang out. I can show you some interesting places in Ljubljana for sure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've done both surfing and hosting and I like both of them.
I've been to a hitch-hiking trip with my friend. We've surfed in Bratislava, Krakow and Berlin at 3 different hosts. It was such an amazing experience. I'm looking forward to participating in CS even more. I'd be glad to host someone, especially now that I've experienced how great CS community is.

Interests

I'm pretty sporty person, I love kayaking, wave surfing and almost every sport connected to the water. I also enjoy climbing, mountainiring, sailing, scuba diving, skiing and snow boarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I listen to whole variety of music. I prefer rock and dnb, but I'd be lying if I'd say I don't sometimes listen to pop likewise. My fovourite bands & artists are the Rolling Stones, Flume, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, the CCR, Coldplay, Roy Orbison, RHCP, U2, the Beatles, Guns n' Roses, Simon&Garfunkel, Dire Straits, Queen, Elton John, the XX, PRISMOJENI PROFESORJI BLUESA (youtube it! :)and I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of good ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many! :)

12 days, 7 major European cities, 2646km hitchhiked, 28 cars picked up, spent 293€/person, 500€ earned, couch surfed more than half nights

Scuba dived on 22m, paddled Soča river in my opinion the most beautiful river known to man :)

I've made two surfboards all by myself and I'm really proud about it.

As I am whitewater paddler by heart, I'd be more than willing to pass my knowledge onto everyone that is willing to learn.
