Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is all about new experiences, meeting new people, making new friends, getting out of your comfort zone to try and make each day just a little bit more exciting. I remember every place I visited, not by its landmarks or views, but by the people that made it unique. Every experience, good or bad, has helped me grow. When I was 17 years old, I went to Germany as an exchange student. I went from everything I knew to a totally foreign country, with a completely different culture, let alone language. Living abroad wasn't always easy, but it truly helped me figure out who I really am when no one I know is around, in a place where I had to build myself again, meeting people I never knew before, learning to understand their ways and helping them understand mine. And it's that same experience I've searched for ever since,
