About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I am me, and I hate writing these things. I really will fill this section in at some point though. Procrastination can be a terrible affliction.

PHILOSOPHY

hmmm. this is a tough one. the Golden Rule? or Be Humble

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, surfing (not enough), and the occasional CS event.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had excellent experiences with surfing and CS meetups when I've stayed in other countries. Now that I live in a city people actually visit, and don't just pass through, I'm enjoying hosting.

Interests

learning about all types of things, going out (which allows me to pursue my passion for good beer/scotch), reading, soccer, basketball, meeting people, traveling, the beach

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are always changing, but will never include country music.

As far as movies go, I don't have a preference, as long as it entertains me. Good comedies are the best, but are far too rare these days.

I enjoy non-fiction, and recently have been catching up on some of the fiction classics I feel I missed while in school, like The Grapes of Wrath, The Three Musketeers, Slaughterhouse Five, On the Road, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Good Earth, etc. I love anything Bukowski, and most anything by John Irving (The World According to Garp is the most hilarious book I've ever read).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing a double rainbow emerge from the waterfalls of Iguazu would probably have to be at the top, followed by two weeks spent living in the middle of nowhere in a trailer in the mountains of Colorado, with a good friend from college.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Spain, United States
