About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying married life

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty happy person. I am also a teacher so I am constantly on pinterest and out and about to see what I can use in the classroom. There are so many small things that can make my day and I try to see them to the biggest extent possible.

Sometimes I tend to be bit shy at first but normally that phase passes if I am comfortable around someone.
I am a bit of a lingofreak (OK who am I kidding, that's an understatement)and I am convinced that the Czech word mléko is definitely the prettiest word on earth.

I absolutely HATE it when I see people throw away groceries that are still perfectly fine to eat. So please don't do that when you're around me. It just makes me really sad because it kind of shows a lack of respect for food.

Some things I adore:
cycling - hiking - Isan food-bookshops-teaching phonics-coffee - Estonia in general - Estonian bus drivers - blueberries - muffins - flea markets - poetry slam - slightly fucked up places - parks - benches - tongue twisters - writing - postcards - Austrian train staff - plum juice - chickpeas - hot chocolate - drinking tea and talking for hours - walks-Scotland-British politeness-teaching pronunciation

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is only real when shared.
I think that one is pretty accurate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have surfed several couches/floors/other surfaces in Europe and Vietnam.
I have hosted six times in my flat in Graz and seven times together with my parents in South Tyrol, which was a very enriching experience. I also hosted a few times back in Thailand, which was very surprising.
I have met some pretty amazing people through CS and hope to be able to surf and host some more:)
Very very positive!

Interests

Teaching, observing life, music, reading, writing, languages and dialects, cooking, being happy. I also love hiking, running and cycling. It just frees your mind.

Lived in Estonia.
Have the chance to live in the best city in Austria.
Saved a soaked chicken from death(actually that was my dad, I just assisted)
Meet wonderful people that say stuff like "A smile can change the world", "My heart is the sun inside me" and "Clouds are wonderful".
See Forth Bridge and the Wallace Monument everyday when going to uni.
Met Erno Rubik in a park in Budapest

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I am a qualified English teacher so in case you need to learn more about language learning apps or English grammar or Scots words, I am happy to help.
As I come from South Tyrol I could teach you our wonderful dialect. Or teach you how to make dumplings and strudel.

Learn: Languages. Finally an explanation how currencies can be stable or unstable. Please tell me:) Oh and I recently decided to get into computer science(especially Python), so if you know anything about that I'll be listening:)

Share: Food, Hugs, nice evenings. I am a teacher so if you are good at drawing or writing I might ask you to make something for me that I can use with my students.
