About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life, meet people, have fun and try to change the world, bit by bit!

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a friendly, open person who enjoys life, travelling and meeting new like-minded people.
Also, I enjoy doing things I've never done before (so try to surprise me!).

This quote by Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) describes me best, I think: "In the short term it would make me happy to go play outside. In the long term it would make me happier to do well at school and become successful. But in the very long term I know which will make better memories."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've joined in order to get to know open-minded, friendly people and, of course, to experience a different style of travelling.

Also, I contribute to the wiki from time to time and lurk around in the group forums.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have couch surfed with people from Hamburg (2 times) and Copenhagen (also 2 times). In addition to just surfing I attended numerous gatherings in Vienna, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Helsinki.

Interests

Languages, all kinds of music (especially Jazz, but Rock and some Pop and even some Metal are also nice), all kinds of sports, computers

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: "Butterfly and diving bell", the "Hector" series by François Lelord, "Round Ireland with a fridge" etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unintentionally joined an AEGEE Summer University out of picking the wrong BBQ place (I actually was in the search for a CS summer BBQ meeting).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to prepare a nice Greek Salad, some basic self-defence moves (I once did Jiu-Jitsu for a while) and how to pronounce the Czech "ř" correctly.
Also, I know something about computers ...
