I`m a 32 years-old Brazilian, who worked for different startups in Brazil for the last 8 years. I have been working for tech companies as an Operational and Marketing Lead throughout those years. In the end of 2022, I decided to go on a gap year and do a round the world trip with my fiancée, Karolina.
We decided to give up our jobs and gather all the money we could by selling our furnitures, cars and even our kitchen utensils, to have a full year experience with different cultures traveling through the 5 continents.
We've been to more than 10 countries through the American continent within the last 3 months and now we’re ready to explore Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main goal of our trip is to discover the local culture wherever we visit, so we're always open to learn about the people we meet, what you eat, what you listen to and what you like to do in your community. Thus, we believe Couchsurfing is one the best ways to experience all of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This round-the-world trip I'm on right now is definitely the most incredible thing I've done. But I had a few incredible experiences like jumping from the highest bungee jumping in the world (South Africa), sleeping a night in the middle of the Sahara desert (Morocco) and driving from Chicago to Florida in 2 days when I was 17 (USA).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've lived in 3 different countries and have been to 20 countries since I was 17, so I love to talk about cultures I've seen and give tips about the places I've been. We can talk about politics, culture, travel and wine, but I also like to learn something new from local people.
