Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since it’s the first time I’m living abroad (Portugal), I’m really into new experiences, to know new people and new places. I think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do that, because mostly of the people who are on CS are sensible to these cultural/personal aspects of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like these things Hahahah definitely not an expert, but I really like the movies made by David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Dennis Villeneuve and Wes Anderson. But I also like those cheesy and funny blockbusters and TV series on Netflix. Since my childhood I’m in love with the Harry Potter series, both movies and books.

In music, I like listening to a lot of things. Since I’m living abroad, I’m getting closer to my roots and listening more Brazilian music, from MPB to Brazilian funk and sertanejo. But I’m really into rock, alternative and pop rock (like Radiohead, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys and The Beatles), indie pop, rap and pop music. To sum up: everything Lollapalooza-like hahahaha

About books, I’m really into philosophy and art history. I used to read a lot of fictional books some time ago, but since I’m focused on my academic life now (and I really love what I study), that’s what I read the most.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like cooking and learning new food related experiences. Since I’m a language curious too, I’m forward to teaching and learning some words and expressions. If you’re into art and architecture, we can share some interesting things.
