About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just came back from an awesome trip through Europe and Asia and now I want to return the favor in NYC.
ABOUT ME
I'm very easy going and always up for new adventures. I love traveling, music and sharing my experiences, some of my best talks were with people I just met.
I'm originally from Poland and moved to the US when I was 10. I studied business and international relations in Boston and moved to NYC in 2013 where I have been living for the past two and a half years and absolutely love it. I used to work in finance but in June I woke up and quit my job to travel solo for the first time and It's been the best thing I've done. Now I'm back in the city and working in tech.
My apartment is in the East Village, a very hip area with a ton of great restaurants, cafes and bars where you can experience life as a real New Yorker - far away from the neon lights of Times Square and the crowds of lower Manhattan. It's a shame that more visitors don't make it down here. I share my apartment with 3 other roommates so I may not always be able to host, but I'm always happy to meet up and show you around/give some recommendations.
I generally work during the week and probably not so much on the weekends anymore. If I have time, I'd like to show you around but probably won't take you to all the major tourists sites, but happy to show you my favorite places in New York.
PHILOSOPHY
Taoism, Everything happens for a reason, go with the flow and don't fight it.
Life is too short to watch other people love theirs. Get out and try things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never done couchsurfing before China and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I challenged myself to surf my entire trip through China and Taiwan and I had an unforgettable experience. Now I'm hoping that I can provide even 1/10th of the experience that others have given me.

Can share my travel stories, what it was like to move to and grow up in the U.S. without speaking English and generally whatever is on my/your mind.
I can also teach you how to eat a muffin and pizza the proper way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a good conversation (hopefully) and food, I really really like food but I can't cook :-/
