I am a doctor from Warsaw and that's where I grew up, where I got married and where I live with my beautiful wife and our dog. I'm mostly a quiet person, but I always appreciate an adventure. I prefer spending my time in the wilderness than in crowded cities (so even in Warsaw I know some such spots 😉) . I enjoy space and freedom over everything else. I'm a bit solitary person, but I can easily get on with small groups of people. (In bigger ones I feel a bit lost).

My wife (Klaudia) is a complementary opposite of me. She's the one thinking of crazy ideas and keeping our spirits up when something goes wrong. If you were to define her in two words it would be "free spirit" as freedom is what she enjoys most and she can't bear being chained. Apart from that she's a lawyer and though she would never admit it a talented painter. If I am a construction worker who makes our trips come true, she's the engineer 😁

Since the beginning of December last year our team gained yet another member - Diana, our daughter ;). There's not much to say about her yet, but every day we learn a lot about each other, so I'm sure she'll fill this paragraph sooner than we'd expect :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because of the chance it gives to fully experience places we visit. I am aware that no guidebook can get you to know a place better than a person who lives there. Almost every corner of the world has it's own secret and magical places and these are the ones that I really crave to see. I also love to share such secrets about the place where I live and Couchsurfing lets me do both of these things.

Interests

I'm interested in everything and nothing at the same time. I always enjoy trying new activities but I find it hard to stick to only one hobby ( the world has a bit too much to offer for me, so I'll probably never get a stable hobby). I love rollerskating and I like to do it wherever and whenever it's possible. 😉 Also whenever I have some spare time, I like to spend it in the kitchen or learning languages. I'm interested in medical sciences as well but it's just what I do, so it doesn't count, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Seeing the night sky in the Australian Outback (especially astonishing for someone growing up in a big city)

-Going fora a hitchhiking trip of 9 months around South America as a couple and coming back after 5 months as a family of 3 :D
