About Me

Well, just a simple guy who will always gladly meet some new people, share experiences and have a good time in interesting company.

Travelling is something that I always've been keen on. I don't care if I travel 10km or 1000km, seeing new places, making new friends and memories and everything that goes along the way is priceless.

Beer? No problem.
Hiking? Sure!
Wrestling the bear? I'm your man!
Quest to hunt down The Kraken? Where did I put my bloody harpoon?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just regret I didn't know about this page few years ago.

Why not? It's a great idea!

Interests

Well, my idea of life is to know and experience as much as you can.

I've trained Capoeira for almost 7 years. Basically I'm the guy who prefers activities over sitting without purpose and gazing only-devil-knows-where. But sometimes a little laziness is also good. A few years back I played basketball and was really hooked on rock climbing. For now I'm mostly running and doing some street workout.

Also, as mentioned in my profile I'm a cook, just about to finish my 2-year long course. I got into that as soon as I started living in my own and I realized that in order to eat good I need to cook good. Of coruse if I don't want to pay a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well that's a lot of writting, ya know?

Well, just make a brief go-through.

Music: generally I listen to rock/metal but it doesn't mean I'm not open for any other genres. I will always take a chance to vast my area of perception ;)
For favorite bands: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Rolling Stones, Tool, System of a Down, The Offspring, Allice in Chains, Nazareth, Nightwish, Stone Sour, Disturbed.
For non-rock I'd pick Wardruna (nordic folk), Woodkid, Walk of the Earth. Of course I have a lot of others, but it's too much to write ;)

Movies. Well, everyone likes a good movie. For myself, I'm a big fan of Tarantino's work, so movies like Pulp Fiction, Django, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill are just great! Also Fight Club, 7 Pounds, Seven, Inception. Everything with good story ;)

Well I go mostly for polish writers, I highly recommend polish fantasy, it's really great. As for beyond border I like S. King's books, as well as Dan Brown's. One of my favorite is A. Duma's masterpiece called Count Monte Christo. Get to it, you won't regret.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eating noodles with chopsticks... seriously at first I thought I only have two options: I either start eating with my hands or die from starvation.

Also hitchhiking for 3 months on my own around the Europe was pretty nice :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach you everything you want to learn.
I will learn everything you want to teach me.
I will share everything you want to, but not the toothbrush. Never ever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I didn't spent my childhood in circus so I cannot show some neat tricks but I can talk about everything, from serious topics to this surprisingly stupid stuff. Exchange experiences, share stories etc ;)
Aaaand... I work in the kitchen so I can cook something... or somebody.

I'm sure there is a lot of things we can learn from each other!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom
