Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a few meetings with various hosts, I can honestly say: To meet amazing people. There is a real abundance of awesome people on this site, and with every new host I meet, I learn something about others and myself. It's a lot of fun, and combined with hitchhiking allows you to see any country for what it really is. No hotels, no touristic plastic atractions. Real people, real places and real fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the Netherlands for a short job in a greenhouse with my girlfriend. Job turned out to be a disaster and we earned nothing. Instead of coming home to cry in a corner we took all our stuff, made a travel plan, and traveled across Holland, meeting awesome people and seeing awesome places. Three weeks of fun and no regrets.
