My name is Mateusz and I am from Poland, from beautiful city Kraków. I finished studies (I'm actually 27 years old) and nowadays I am working as a digital strategist in a marketing agency. For a while, I was working as a city tour guide so you are more than welcome to visit my wonderful place and listen to all the legends and history of my city. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason why I am here is, of course, meeting people from different countries :) Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new people, hear their stories and share your own thoughts and life :)

Interests

I have a lot of interests and I want to try other new things whenever I can :) I had tried a lot of things but now I'm doing:

Travelling: wherever I can, by car, train or hitchhiking. I especially like hiking in Polish mountains.
Reading: Stephen King, Alexander Dumas, digital marketing books and others.
Theatre: Commedia dell'arte, local theatres in Kraków
Historical Fencing and reconstruction: I train sabre and reconstruct townsman from XII/XIII century.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is Stephen King! I read also other books. Some of them made a significant impact on my life philosophy. Some of them are 'Count of Monte Cristo', 'The Three Musketeers', 'Shogun', 'Art of War', 'Prince', 'Seven years in Tibet', 'Fight Club' and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With friends, we decided to buy 3 small cars and travel from Poland to Georgia :) Over 6000 km :)
