About Me

New to Warsaw starting from February 2020, however I would love to show the capital of my country. Previously I lived in Prague for more than 5 years. As soon as I settle down, I'm open to share my flat to other couchsurfers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people, exchange some experience and - depending on my availability - host some people and show them my country.

Interests

I'm interested in travelling, history (especially Austria-Hungary!), learning new languages, reading good books (Czech, Hungarian, Russian, Balkan, French), watching good European movies (also Czech, Hungarian, Russian and French), I also love sailing and skiing,

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - jazz, blues, classical (Chopin!), folk. Usually I listen to the 3rd Programme of the Polish Radio.
Movies - old Polish and the new Polish cinema, Czechoslovak, Hungarian (from the 60s and 70s), Russian/Soviet, old Italian, Chinese and Japanese, from the Balkans
Books - Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Russian, French. I love to read about history and travel, especially about the East.
All these things are "included, but not limited to", which means I am open to new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I'm pretty proud of my Skipper Certificate :-).

Teach, Learn, Share

I may exchange language knowledge, I like to do some storytelling about Polish and Central European history, if you are interested :-).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always believed, that bringing something from my country (not the most obvious things of course) can break the ice, especially if there is a story to tell about it. I like to bring Polish mead, liquors, sweets, starka, food, if possible :-).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Poland
