About Me

Hello!

I really don't know how to sum up myself well. I've experienced quite a few things in my life and I'm still pretty much growing and trying to get places. Overall, I think life is all about exploring, trying to live each day like it's your last (within reason), meeting new people, listening to their stories and learning new things. At the end of the day, we regret the things we haven't tried just as much as the things we messed up doing.

I think I'm open-minded and relatively funny, I enjoy cosy nights in as much as crazy nights out. Love hiking and city walks. I like history, galleries and museums - I can spend an hour in one room reading every little caption (this usually only works when I go solo). I also like good bars, clubbing, tequila shots, and good food. I find it particularly enjoyable to learn how to cook a dish that I really liked during my travels so I can have a nice reminder of my time abroad.

Other things I enjoy: green tea, cardamom coffee, naps, conversations, and meditation.

Throughout the years, I've mostly worked in the wider education sector, with a two-year break in diplomacy/foreign aid. Most recently, I spent five years as a geography, sociology and mindfulness teacher. I really enjoyed teaching teenagers about the world but in 2022 I moved to work in quality assurance and accreditation for one of the royal medical colleges in London.

I work flexi-time from home so I'm usually up to meet up, show people around, grab a midweek drink, go to museums or give you advice on where to go and what to see :)

Any questions, hmu!
