I'm a 24 year old student from Copenhagen, and during the past few months I’ve been cycling through India and around Sri Lanka. Back in Copenhagen I study mathematics and I live in a very social dorm. I love to be active - I run and cycle quite a bit. On holidays I hike, swim, ski - basically whatever available sport!

I also enjoy cooking, having grown up in a family where "what are we eating tonight" always was the most important question. When I don't run, cook or play the bass I enjoy reading, listening to music or just talking.

I have stayed with host families several times before (10 months in France, in Bath and in London) and I enjoy it a lot. I'm very helpful and easy-going!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having just bicycled through India, I’m heading towards Sri Lanka to cycle around there for a month. Then in May I’m flying to Seoul, South Korea and I’m planning on travelling around for 3 weeks. As I’m a student, I have quite a tight budget and would therefore very much appreciate a couch and the odd shower! I also think the best way to experience a new country is to speak as much as possible with people who live there - so I hope to get that opportunity!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've played the bass since I was 10, so I've been exposed to so many different genres of music and therefore have quite a wide taste. The past couple of years I've had a phase with old 60's, 70's and 80's hits (Dire Straits, Supertramp, Paul Simon, The Zombies, The Doobie Brothers etc) and and now I'm exploring a more electronic vibe e.g. Aphex Twin and Four Tet. And Vulfpeck of course - Joe Dart having been my role model for some years (now it’s Rocco)

I read quite a bit too. When I was younger I read mostly science fiction - HP, LOTR, Eragon etc. But now I'm reading all kinds of fiction. My latest reads are by Murakami, Milan Kundera and Ann Patchett.
