About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm on a mission to see and experience the world! Catch all the small things in life.

ABOUT ME

Latest news:
I finally got a real couch that could fit into our apartment!

I live with Jakob, my flatmate, in our 2-room apartment in Copenhagen, the south-western part, so the space is a bit crammy, but I've got a decent room. If you crash here, it'll probably be on the couch in my room or on a matress on the floor. I've got a regular matress and an inflateable one as well.

I'd love to meet you for various things: a walk around town, a coffee/beer, a game of pool, a private juggling lesson (I'm not the best though), learn things from you, teach you basic danish language, make food together, etc.. Generally anything goes, so feel free to contribute with ideas yourself as well. I even love being a tourist in my own country - still plenty to see as well
______________________________________________

I like to think of myself as being easy-going and positive. I seek adventure and new experiences all the time.

I like to have a chat over a beer or a glass of wine, so if this is your style, that's cool :)

At the moment I study social sciences at Roskilde University
After I finished my college education in the summer 08, I've served my military service and when that ended, I got a job within the Army, at the Royal Danish Army Officer School, a temporary job that ended in the summer '09.

I'm also a lot into hitchhiking and I've hitched and vagabonded a bit in Denmark and also made a few trips outside this little country - Especially looking back at the time when me and some friends made a race to Hamburg, Germany, where we lived with some awesome people for a couple of days - my first real "CS" adventure, though we met outside of Couchsurfing community.

Also, Tue (a friend here on CS) and I hitchhiked through Europe, stopping in cities including Amsterdam, Venice, Vienna and Berlin the summer 09. It was a great adventure, unfortunately we didn't meet with any couchsurfers this time!

I've been travelling and hiking a lot in Iceland, and some in Sweden and Poland, Scotland. I really like the nordic nature, and could easily go back to Iceland every year for more badass viking adventures!

I want to see the world!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in what you give is what you get in return... As cliché as it sounds, it's what I've experienced alot

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to meet with new-in-town's whenever I can, to show you whatever I can :) Been living south of Copenhagen for all my life, I know areas outside of Copenhagen as well as big parts of the capital. Hopefully I can participate more now that I've moved to a bigger place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly meeting couchsurfers from all over the world - having hosted quite a few, but so far never had the chance to surf a couch

Music (Rock, Electronic, Old punk, generally alot of music), The good movies, not just your regular blockbuster, friendships, wildlife, hiking and climbing, outdoor life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The few days we (Tue and I) spent on the beach off of Venice was awesome! We lived like castaways with a Czech couple for 3 days, providing for our selves in what way we could; picking wild tomatoes and figs, and cooking over open fire, on the beach, together. That was truly awesome.

The Compostela del Santiago at age 13 with my mother - a really important time in my young life was this pilgrimage which i think is the reason for my passion of hiking and adventuring

Teach, Learn, Share

I know:

- 3-ball juggling - I've taught various of my friends in no time.

- Diabolo - The thingy yoyo with two sticks and string

- Danish language

- Movies! I'd love to discuss, recommend and be recommended some great/weird/fun movies

- Cooking! I really enjoy cooking, but I'm always short on ideas, maybe you've got some great dishes to teach me?

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Netherlands, Slovenia
