About Me
At this moment I'm in Belgium, as an exchange student at the University of Liège. Wallonia is a pretty cool region to explore, there's a lot of beer, Belgian fries and waffles (ou gaufres, comme vous voulez), but what I like most about this place is the warmth of the people, who keep showing me that being liégeois is all about being friendly.
For most of my life I have lived in Recife, a hectic city in the Northeast of Brazil, so living in a smaller town like Liège has been an interesting experience despite the never-ending rain (I miss the sun!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed all the way to the top of a mountain overlooking the Armerillo valley, in the south of Chile. Up there, as I stared into the Descabezado Grande (Beheaded Giant, because of its shape) volcano, a huge cloud passed right through me and at that moment the cold and humidity were like a hug of congratulations, making me feel as if I were touching the sky.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ever since I WWOOFed in Chile I've become a big fan of volunteering for food and shelter while traveling, because that saves you big bucks, plus you get to know these amazing, good-hearted, generous people, and you make good friends for life.
