I'm Matheus M E Abreu, student at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, located on the Brazilian state Minas Gerais.

Since my first memory, I'm attracted to the arts, theater, music and cinema. So I decided join the Faculty of Social Communication as the first step to work with and live these subjects. There, I was part of a theater group, called Grupo Divulgação, where I worked as an actor, producer and in lightning through 5 spectacles. In the second year of my grad, I wrote and directed my first short movie. Since then, I've never stopped working with cinema/video.

I am also a photographer, a DJ and I work with a Brazilian-funk singer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now I am traveling in Europe, so I intend to meet new places and people. I think that meeting local people is the key to discover incredible stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

Two international musician idols: Madonna and Jack White. I think they have this similarity: they are concerned in telling a story and bringing music to next level.
Speaking of movies, I'm gonna make a suggestion: try to watch a Brazilian movie called "Tatuagem". <3
I also like poetry and some authors like Clarice Lispector, Saramago and Garcia Marquez.

I practice aerial silks! It's the first exotic thing to tell that came to my mind. lol

I would love to learn french; actually I'm planing to take classes next year. I can be useful when it comes to Photography and digital manipulations of images.
