Hello couchsurfers!

My name is Matheus Schuh and I'm currently living in Grenoble, France, an university and scientific city known as the Capital of the Alps. I'm actually Brazilian and was born in a relatively large city called Caxias do Sul, founded by Italian immigrants in 1890, even though I still don't speak Italian.

My stay in France is part of an exchange program and I'm trying to travel and get to know as much different places and cultures as possible. I can't live without my bike, my camera, my guitar, headphones and a good friend (because happiness is only real when shared).

I'm quite calm, organized and like to take my time while visiting cities. I prefer to do it on foot as you get the chance to really observe the architecture, greenness and everything else that the city has to offer. As a guest I respect my host's house and rules and try to be as engaging and friendly as possible with him, creating mutual knowledge and esteem.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty eclectic taste music with some rare exceptions. Even though I do prefer the classic gold old rock with my favorite artists being Pink Floyd and Jeff Buckley.

I enjoy watching movies that instigate thoughts and reflection afterwards. Top 5: Fight Club, Enemy, Inception, Shutter's Island and Donnie Darko. No film from Wes Anderson is in this list, however he is my favorite director.

I am always willing to learn about pretty much anything and may teach you one thing or two about computers and programming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some Brazilian dishes and play the guitar.
