I'm Mat, 27 from Western Australia but live in Melbourne with my beautiful partner Daniela from Colombia.
Daniela is 30 and is a dance teacher among many other things. She's even been Disney Princesses for childrens birthday parties hahah. Daniela is incredibly friendly and energetic and will happily talk to everyone and anyone about anything and everything.
We love meeting new people and sharing memorable experiences.
We are very relaxed and genuine people who enjoy adventures, delicious food and good company to share it with. We are currently travelling through Central and South America.

We are on couchsurfing to experience a more authentic holiday with like minded, relaxed and adventurous people, listening histories and receiving recommendations, also one day to offer accommodation and become as good a host as we've met travelling.

Intereses

Mat: Music, sport, travelling, conversation, food and learning/experiencing new things! I collect tattoos and play street hockey 🏒 Seeing a country through local eyes is how I like to experience my travels If there's ingredients, I can make some pretty great cocktails haha

Dani: I love getting to know people and their customs, listening stories but also telling mine, I love to laugh and put a smile on others, have adventures and excitement and I love to dance with people until my knees hurt haha.

Backpacked South East Asia for 5 months (including a month in wonderful Japan)
Lived in multiple towns and cities of Australia
Dani:
*Walking at night in a town further from touristic area and coming across a nice Mexican family that invited us to eat Posole, tamales and drink beer in Valladolid.
* Flying over the Antarctic for hours and seeing such beautiful view.
*Skydiving in early beach, Australia
*Seen the wax palms in el Quindío, Colombia ( I felt like I was in Jurassic Park)
*Seeing a sea turtle 🐢 swimming right in front of me in the Great Batter reef, Queensland, Australia.
*Moved to the other side of the world from Colombia to Australia all by myself.

Mat: Mat can juggle, slackline and spin Poi
Not professionally but enough to enjoy! Happy to teach what we can.
Love to learn new recipes and skills in general.

Dani: I teach dance and I do Zumba and sometimes I do Spanish tutoring in Australia, I am more than happy to teach you some steps, go to party, do a good cardio until the place close. I also can teach you some Spanish and English especially slang, I'm not the best at cooking but I am at eating haha.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Open mindedness, good company, polite and relaxed. Sharing stories, conversations, laughs and if you are keen we go out for a dance, a trip or a walk. Cooking a meal if you don't mind our average cooking skills haha
Enthusiastic and excited to see/try new things. And one day we'd like to offer the same as hosts ourselves where ever we are! Mi casa es tu casa.
