My name is Mathew and I travel around with my fiancé Meg. I'm British and she is American. We enjoy exploring new countries and experiencing different cultures. I am a photographer with a Bachelors in Photography and love to capture the raw essence of each new place I visit with my camera. Meg, is an aesthetician, who specialises in facials and manicures/pedicures. We are both nature lovers and enjoy going on nature hikes or walks. We are very into spirituality and living a calm and peaceful lifestyle.

I am visiting the states for the second time, the first was when I was 13 and I went to New York. This time around, I am visiting with my fiancé, Meg and I am hoping to one day move to the U.S. so that we can settle down there. We are looking for a way to travel around the U.S. together and immerse ourselves into the states we would like to visit so we can get a better idea of what it would be like to live in that particular state, hopefully meet some new people, make some friends and save a little money in the process.

We enjoy a lot of foreign and independent movies, anything with a great musical score and cinematography captures our interest. My favourite director is Wes Anderson, Grand Budapest Hotel is my top choice for his movies. Meg is a sucker for horror films, who doesn't love a good ghost story? She also enjoys a good comedy and period film as well.

We enjoy System of a Down and other various rock musicians. Meg loves musicals, opera and classic rock from the 70s and 80s. And I enjoy my psychedelic and punk genres.

I'm not much of a reader but when I do read, I enjoy books about photography, spirituality and quantum physics. Meg enjoys classic literature and poetry, as well as fantasy/sci-fi, and horror. She also loves to read manga from time to time.

I've ridden on the back of an elephant in Thailand and I rode on the back of a buffalo in Vietnam. Meg is still waiting for her amazing thing to happen.

I've travelled to many different countries and would love to share my experiences with my host, also if they share a love of art or photography, spirituality and nature, we would love to provide discussions on such things. I'm also a great cook and can make a mean Thai curry, so if you're in the mood for trying an authentic curry I would be happy to share this meal with you.
