I am an engineering student and recently finished my exchange program at the University of Waterloo. During my term I travelled a lot, did snowshoeing trips and a few hikes. It was such a good time that I decided to do a big North America trip which last 3 month.

My Couchsurfing experience started in Chicago when I stayed at a friend's friend's place. I got introduced to that awesome community and furthermore did it in Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, Salt Lake City and almost in every city in California. All positive experiences of course.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and make friends all over the world.
In the last few weeks I had only positive experiences, all the people in this community are very friendly and helpful.
I already started to make a sheet with all the friends I made that I can remember who I want to meet when I go to a specific country.
It is awesome if someone is talking about traveling to a country and you can say: I have a friend there :D

New cultures, lifestyles and nightlife ;)

I play the clarinet in a few orchestras in Austria and my most favorite sports are skiing, snowboarding and recently added: hiking. I didn't hike at all in Austria because where I live are no moantains and when I went to the alps it was mainly for skiing.
