Ello'! I am a 24 year old guy living in Aarhus, Denmark currently studying my masters in Strategy, Organization and Leadership while working a study job as a junior consultant and in addition volunteering as a consultant for small-medium size companies when the schedule allows for it.

In my spare time I exercise 4-5 times a week (I recently did a max of 16 pull ups in a row with good form and thereafter heaving for my breath on the ground in a fetus position a couple minutes), read a lot of study related material or books such as Game of Thrones, play guitar and cook. I don't bother making good food everyday when it's just me, so I usually fill my fridge and freezer with premade burritos for daaaays.

I have lived in Feldkirch, Austria for a year when I was 10 or so and later moved out from the rents' for the first time alone in Dublin, Ireland for a year working as a call center support agent for Microsoft (Xbox).

Been skiing since I was 10 pretty much every winter, travelled a lot in the Western part of Europe and road tripped USA twice - summer 2013 and summer 2015.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently moved to Aarhus to study and hence don't know too many people yet. When I travelled the US, a guy in San Diego offered me a couch one night and the gesture and overall experience was so great I'd like to repay that. Also meeting people from different places is cool.

I live in a fairly large single room apartment and at the moment only have a couch beside my bed, so hosting will be limited to 1 person. Also I ramble stories in my sleep, so you can have fun with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Led Zeppelin has always been the band to mark it's pressence on my playlist every time I feel it up. I do enjoy quite a wide array of music though and have gone to many concerts and a few festivals.

As for movies, Whiplash are the best movie I have seen in quite a long time although I am more of a series-person. Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Sherlock etc. have all been binged on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I visited Roskilde Festival (2014) for the first time. My friends who have gone every year since they were little told me to show up and enjoy myself, everything else from tents, boomblasters, pavillions and chairs would be handled. I did show up and had some of the most fun of my life.

The second night, we were at quite a large camp party (+1000 young people going crazy). It was rainy and late at night, but everyone enjoyed themselves and danced. One of my buddies yellled that "MATHIAS SHOULD CROWDSURF", so before I had a chance to react I was being carried around by random people and had no idea where I was going. Completely out of my control, this experience ranks pretty high for me!
