Overview
About Me
Note: Not currently hosting as of May/June 2022 due to university and work commitments.
I'm a 28 year old guy currently residing in Trondheim, Norway. I am originally from the county of Nordland, but moved here in 2013 in order to study at the local university. I am now studying part time while also working as a receptionist at a local hotel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing primarily in order to meet new people. I would like to get to know people from all over the world, and hear about your stories and cultures. For the time being, I'll do this mostly as a host, as I do not have the time nor money to do any couchsurfing on my own as of yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will enjoy most music if it's played live and there's a good mood, but I primarily listen to rock and metal. I enjoy trying to catch as many of the local gigs as possible, and I've come to realize there are actually quite a few of them.
Movies: I'll watch mostly anything that I find original and/or intriguing. While I realize that doesn't really tell you that much, some of my favourites are: Cloud Atlas, The Terminal, Forrest Gump, The Lego Movie(don't judge me!), Wolf of Wall Street, Watchmen, Kingsman, Lord of War, Last King of Scotland, Memento, The Usual Suspects, anything Tarantino.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Do Dungeons and Dragons adventures count?
I got stuck on a mountain in Wales and had to be airlifted out (maybe not as amazing as it is embarrasing, but it's still a fun story!).
I worked as a teacher in Livingstone, Zambia, for a couple of months as part of my studies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to show you around town and tell you what I know of its history, provided I have the time. I'll also show you around the local, very beginner-friendly hiking trails if that is of interest. I can teach you how to (amateurishly) play frisbee golf, and I can teach you how to solve a Rubik's cube!
I am currently learning German (intermediate level for now), and would love to host anyone who speaks the language or is learning it themselves!
I would also love to help you learn and practice Norwegian, no matter which level, from just a few useful phrases (that can be used all over Scandinavia) for your travels, to advanced learners.
I can teach you how to dance Lindy Hop!
