About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world

ABOUT ME

- an avid and crazy hitchhiker with lots of funny stories to tell
- a student of English
- a constant dreamer
- a spontaneous and fun-loving person
- a beer lover
- an aspiring writer with a sensitive, artistic soul
- a lover of culture (music, literature, films)

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let others live. And never regret a single thing you've done

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot of people in my previous flat and I'm hosted very often, as I travel a lot. Currently I'm travelling and I cannot host people, but in September I'm going to Wales for a student exchange and I hope to be able to host people there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a great number of people and have been hosted nearly as often

Interests

- travelling (especially hitchhiking, low-cost airlines and nature trips)
- writing in any form- I have a blog about travelling (http://hitchyfeet.blogspot.com) and I'm writing some fiction as well
- literature- especially classical, but also contemporary novels (like John Irving's)
- films and cinematography- especially American, as well as European cinema (my favourite directores are Woody Allen, Ingmar Bergman, Quentin Tarantino, Lars von Trier and many, many others)
- music (especially film soundtracks, classical music, oldies goldies and 60s-90s)
- cooking- although I'm not an expert, I really want to become one :D
- friends and family

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical and contemporary novels (especially the 19th and 20th century, but also the most recent ones)
Movies- also classical ones, both American and European cinema
Music- looots of it, but mostly film soundtrack, the 60s-80s, rock&roll, instrumental music (also classical one), rock, pop- in fact a bit of everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of them, I enjoy every tiny thing that happens to me- especially if you hitchhike (a sandwich after a few hours of hitchhiking is better than anything else).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you tips about hitchhiking, I'm getting more and more experienced :)
I can teach you some Silesian- a very specific Polish dialect/speech pattern.
If you are interested in Polish culture and history, I can tell you a lot about it :)
I would like to learn some cooking tricks and secrets from foreign cuisines
And I'm always ready to learn some manual skills

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Poland
