One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my ex-wife we had two great adventures, best of my life.

One was a car drive to Xiligol County in Inner Mongolia, an autonomous province of China.
We drove night and day, slept inside de car in the middle of the steppe.
We drove off-road to see a huge lake, and I had the chance to fly a kite while watching her contemplating the nature.

Our second one was a motorbike adventure around 100km north of Beijing to an Artificial Water Town that trys to resemble Chinese coast water towns like Suzhou.
It was strenuous to travel at night by motorbike, but we made it.
We saw a different part of Beijing, more precisely the rural districts like MiYun, as I remember.
We slept in a tent in front of someone house, we rode different side roads to explore. Note, it rained; and we still endured. Brave woman.

She is the best.
