About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To exit this existence more informed than when I entered it
ABOUT ME
I am a perpetual student, both of life and in academics. Even though I am in my latter 20s I am still working towards my bachelors degree (only 3 terms left!). I was raised in San Francisco, where I like to think that the liberal and accepting attitudes of the City shaped me into a very open and relaxed person.
I have spent the last year (08/2010 - 07/2011) studying French literature and Art in Bordeaux, France during which I have traveled about western Europe. I love the feeling of being on the road and not knowing what is coming next. The excitement of arriving in a new town and having to find your way about. Traveling is unlike anything else, and I am fully addicted!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live is the first thing that comes to mind. I am a very laid back person and I try to live as low impact as possible. I love adventure, travel and meeting new people. Oh and I believe that one should always do the thing that will make for a better story later!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed other's couches, both through CS and other methods, and it remains for me a wonderful adventure. I have had both good and bad experiences and every single one has been a learning opportunity. I look forward to more of the same in the future!
As for my personal couch, I have not yet had the opportunity to host, but when I finally have a home that allows me to do so, I am looking forward to the experience!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have in the last year couchsurfed a couple of different homes, both through CS and by other means. It continues to be a wonderfully enriching experience and I am excited about all the surfing that is to come!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing to come to mind is the time that I hiked up to see the edge of the world. When I got to the top, I walked to the precipice and looked out over the abyss...we are really tiny!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Anyone and everyone provides the opportunity to learn. In life, it is not a matter of seeking learning but understanding and recognizing how to learn from everyone/everyday.
