Interests

Most of my time (apart from studying) is spend in cooking and listening to/ making music. I for sure love to travel the non-touristic way and meet new people to gain insider tips and take (usually) awesome trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is generally Metal based. anything from Death- to Metalcore can really cheer me up or get me moving. A different style that I did not expect me to enjoy is the Dubstep scene. Surely can waste a night on that. Lately i have been a lot into Progressive stuff. I like the technical difficulty since I am a musician myself (trombone and guitar). And thus of course I do feel connected to classical music, mostly symphonical orchestras but also musicals.

I can definately have a good time watching movies, but usually i get distracted, starting conversations about the movies. Unless I watch them on my own, because I don't talk to myself... srsly

I love books that do not have a deeper purpose than entertaining the reader. Heavy books bugged me out in school i guess. So my favorite book of all time is the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'll make sure to have a towel with me while traveling. Terry Pratchett has also written some books that can make me laugh hard or confuse me because of their senselessness. I have also been into fantasy books a lot and lately The Game of Thrones, caught me. Don't like the TV Show though...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember one day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that my sister and i were walking through an old neighnourhood and accidentally crashed into a religious festival, celebrated there. The people there were suprised at first but immediately invited us to have some food and drinks with them. We made friends there very fast and even visited one of them on our way back to Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and do so regularly. What I try to pickup from my travels (apart from nice impressions, beautiful pictures and awesome friends (wait lets make it friendships, i don't pick up people)) is some cooking skills. I always try to cook with people and learn something from how they are doing it, while I of course am happy to share my knowledge about that and prepare a German (or Asian, really like that...) meal. I also make sure to pick up at least 1 spice and 1 recipe from places i have visited. You got some?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Due to my studies I do work with Android phones and Computers regularly, if you need something I am happy to help out. Otherwise I am of course happy to share any traveling experience with you.
