About Me

Hi to anyone reading this, here's a little bit about me. I am the offspring of a Czech dad and a Chilean mom who decided to move to Canada in the 80's. I spent the majority of my life in Montreal, Canada and for the last two years I have been living in the Czech Republic in order to improve my Czech that I unfortunately did not get to learn while I was younger. I am absolutely passionate about anything that has to do with this country and Europe in General. Otherwise I would consider myself has an open minded person , I have no issue to socialize anywhere I go and I love to be spontaneous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because it opens you the door to the world and their diverse human being. It gives you the chance to meet locals who can share what it really feels like to be part of their city. Hostels are really great but.. I think nothing can give you a better taste on the place and the culture you're visiting then a local hosting you. Couchsurfing gives you the chances to meet locals who can share their thoughts and stories about their culture and their city and this is why I love being part of this big community that loves people.

My couchsurfing experience have been great so far. I have hosted twice and been hosted multiple time. I am currently studying and working in Brno so I might be a little bit busy but I can make time to host any couchsurfers

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page"

Interests

A friend once shared this quote with me : "And if you feel just like a tourist in the city you were born, then it's time to go". Ever since she told me this, I knew that travelling and getting out of my comfort zone was going to be my #1 priority.

Other than travelling, I really like to talk about politics, philosophy, music and pretty much everything. But my main interest is to discover new culture. I love to learn languages, it's actually my passion and my field of study. I like to know the basics words for every country that I will be visiting and I hope that my future host are going to be able to teach me a few words.

I have a small guitar that I brought for my travel, if I ever get the chance to meet some people who can sing, I would be glad to play along !
