Hey!

French Canadian boy from Montreal here, so i speak both French and English (y un poquito de espagnol, pero no mas!). Right now I'm a solo traveler across Belgium, Netherlands & Germany, and I'll be leaving in a month. I'm the kind of guy who likes to spend many days in the same spot the get the feel, know the culture and the habits of the people, and experience them the same way to understand how different people live differently.

I can't afford hotels, and hostels are exhausting. And sometimes, you just want to chill with people without being harassed by a hostel-party-manager to follow them for 15 euros.

Also, let's be honest, CS is quite an unexpensive yet cool way to travel. However - and it is a matter of respect - i don't take couches as free hotels. I usually trade something from my homeplace (*cough*maplesyrup*) or getting some work done in the house (cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, buying groceries while people are working) against a couch. You have a couch, I have free time : let's get something out of it. And if by luck both of us have free time, let's DO something out of it!

In Montreal I run a trivia night group, and am the quizmaster at Le Colonel Moutarde on tuesday. I'm all into culture, trivia, and general knowledge. Nothing learned is wasted learning! If you want to include me into your trivia team, I'll be more than happy to help you win these rounds of shots!

I traveled alone across Colombia barely knowing Spanish.
I also rode by bus from Montreal to Vancouver, which is a 78-hours non-stop bus ride.
I directed a creative writing magazine at uni.
I once won 1800$ at a local TV show. (One less amazing thing I did was wasting the money haha...)
