About Me

French as main language, fluent in both English and Japanese. I live near Montreal with my family, but I hope to live in my own place after a few travels. I have been busy in the last year with my part-time jobs and studies in cinema and digital music, but now is the time to explore the world! I love japanese culture and I hope to learn about lots of different cultures during my upcoming travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to experience a different culture is to spend time with people. When I travel, I don't like to visit only the crowded spots, but rather explore the hidden beauties of the country. I really don't mind sleeping on a couch if it can save me a few dollars too! I can't host back at the moment but it would be a pleasure to give back the favor one day!

Music, Movies, and Books

-Electronic music is my favourite, but I love all styles, old or new.
-Psychological movies, animations and experimental cinema are on the top of my list, but I enjoy a big production from time to time
-I used to read a lot, from Harry Potter to french classics, but music took much of the reading time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Japan for 10 months when I was 17 years old as part of a cultural immersion. I spent almost a full year away from home with a Japanese host family, speaking almost only the country's language. I learned a lot from this experience and really loved the immersion into another culture.
