Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people around the world, and if I can, be useful to travellers by offering a bed at my house.
To be hosted at a person’s place is an experience like no other. Sharing a day or two of someone’s life can teach you so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Antony and the Johnsons, Sigur Ros, CocoRosie, lots of classical music. I like live music and most of genres. Too many bands to list here.

Movies : Tim Burton's movies, The Reader, Fight Club, Dead Poet's Society. Wes Anderson is one of my favourite filmmakers. Xavier Dolan is definitely my fav. I can watch more or less anything, except for hero action movies (I like Batman though).

Books : so many of them, it is hard to choose, but definitely "Animal Farm" from George Orwell, The Perks of Being a Wallflower from Chbosky, books from Murakami, On the Road from Jack Kerouac, poems from Allen Ginsberg. I'd say Kundera is also one of my favourite writers. And let's not forget about the Harry Potter series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A sort of roadtrip experience around Iceland 🇮🇸 . The feeling of freedom while driving into snowy landscapes. I also swam in a 1-degree water there in Silfra. It was an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied cooking when I was in secondary school and I know a lot about French cuisine. I can also teach you some French.
I want to learn new languages, like Japanese, and also improve my Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of French, cooking, and nice talks! I have been a vegetarian for a few years now and I can share some easy, fast and cheap recipes.
Also, I am very happy with helping my hosts in everyday tasks.
