We are Christelle and Mathieu, 32 years old, from Switzerland 🇨🇭 teachers and farmer 👩‍🏫 🐮

We quit our job in 2023 to enjoy a slow life and connect with people while traveling and volunteering! We're currently hitchhiking our way to the Pacific Coast! 🤞

🚂 Travelling: our first long-term trip together was in 2021. We went to Georgia and Armenia by bus and train.

Mathieu is a very sporty person: floorball, wallclimbing, ski...He hates wearing sunglasses and makes jokes that he believes to be good.

Christelle is more creative: embroidery, collage. She also enjoys taking photographs. She hates thermal baths but loves dancing what she calls "contemporary dance" which means doing random moves in rythm!

📽So maaaaany movies! At home, we had a year subscription for a movie theater that shows indie movies.

📖We read a lot! We enjoy reading books from the countries we visit, any recommendation would be great!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being invited for dinner by an Armenian family doing a BBQ on the beach of Sevan Lake. 3 words of Russian, a lot of hands movements and smiles were the only way to converse with them!

It took us 26 hours by bus to go through Turkey. At the end of the journey, we had made friends from Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and more =)
