I'm 27, currently living in Paris. I lived abroad after my studies (India for 5 months, Hungary for 5 months, Burkina Faso for 3 months). Now I'm happy to be back where I'm from an settle a bit for some time before going on new adventures... :)
Travelling is a great to have a fresh outlook on people, different cultures and life. Since I came back to Paris I try to have the same mindset than the one I had when travelling, which is not always easy. I found a quote once that told that the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. So I'm currently working on my eyes... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience of couchsurfing was in Nantes, France. I was doing an internship there during the summer of 2013. One week before my internship ended, I found myself without a place to live because my rental was over. I had heard about couchsurfing, so I asked if anyone could host me for two or three nights on the website. A french couchsurfer called Yves told me that it was possible. Yves was a very experienced host. When I got there he introduced me to Sertaç, a turkish guy, and two american people, Michael and Kelsey. All three had just arrived in Nantes to study and were surfing a few days until they could find some place to live.
Right from the start, we all got along very well, and ended up staying there for 7 days ! Everyday we were talking and joking around. I remember that week as the best of my summer of 2013.
