ABOUT ME

My name is Mathieu, I'm french and I am 25. I worked a lot for the video game industry. I was journalist, community manager... but I leave my job to see the world.

I started a world tour on may 19th 2014. The plan is travel for 2 or 3 years. I'm a hitchhiker and sometimes I don't know where I go, but it's fun. Every day can be a adventure. I try to meet amazing people, see beautifull landscape and discover unseen places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's can be complicated to meet people when you travel. Couchsurfing is a good way to meet people around the world.

Interests

I explore a lot the city (catacombs, rooftop, abandonned places...), I travel and I'm photographer.

I think I'm a geek too. If you want to play with me at Street Fighter IV, I'm ready :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Go on the rooftop of a lot of building around the world
- See the sunrise on the top of Mt Fuji
- Walk on the parisian catacombs without map and know exactly where I'm.
- Start my world tour
- Be on the highest lake in the world on Himalaya
- Sleep on the Great Wall in China
- Sleep on one very old temple in Cambodia and visit some of them by night with nobody inside
- I lived 2 times december 6th
- Once, I hitchhicked 26h before to stop a car
- I swam in the south part of the Tierra del Fuego (Chile part)
