About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After having worked in Brazil for two years, I returned in France at the end of September and now I'm working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious person, who likes to meet people from all over the world, and to discuss about the culture of the other one. I have already lived one year in Argentina, two months in Chile and two years and a half in Brazil in various cities (Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Brasília for two years, where I was until september, 2016). That's why Latin America is the continent where I spent much time in the last years but I'm also very curious about knowing people from other continents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One friend told me about this website some years ago; I thought it was very cool to travel in a different way !

Couchsurfing website has changed my travels ! I used it a lot travelling in South America, meeting new people who show me their cities. That's a good way to know more about the local culture and places which are not very known by tourist guides. I used couchsurfing's website in various countries: Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Spain, alone or with some friends, as you can see with the mention of comentaries I have on my profile.

Moreover, I use to participate in couchsurfing meetings they are in cities where I'm living. For instance, I used to go to polyglot meetings when I was in Brasília, which was a perfect way to meet new people.

I started to host people since my situation in France has been stabilizated - since I'm not travelling all the time.

Interests

I like to speak about the culture and values of the other one, so as to see potencial differences between countries and understand them. I'm very passionate about politic, political sciences, history... All the subjects I've studied during my studies.

I like travelling, trekking, sport, soccer, running, nature... I'm a very optimistic person who likes to see the positive aspect of things !

Music, Movies, and Books

Latin music, cumbia, salsa, forró, pop rock...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've already travelled in South America (Argentinian and chilean patagonia) by doing hitchhiking for three months, with a friend, without having a defined plan. That was a great experience, meeting a lot of people with different ways of life, which was a rewarding travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If during the week, I could host people and meet them when I will leave the work to walk in the city at night.

If during the week-end, I would have more time to show the city and spend time with my host.

As I said, I spent a lot of time outside of my country, and I like to speak with travelers, because I'm a traveler as well ! I like to speak about the life of the other one, to understand his life; with me, no way to have a superficial conversation :)
