I am super happy living in this world, that’s why I always think positive 🌻

We are a French couple from Corsica currently traveling around Asia for one year. We travel at our own pace and are adept of "slow travel". That's why we love couchsurfing as well as volunteering experiences. It allows us to really immerse ourselves in a place, meet locals and their friends, and understand how people live. This is the purpose of our journey around Asia. We usually like to spend more time in a place than travelers usually do. Because we love to experience real local life for some time, even if it involve to walk around with our host and discuss for hours instead of going to touristic places. That's what we love, simple things.
We always travel with local transportations and sometimes hitchhike.

We are passionate about food. Quentin is a cook, he studied hospitality and specialized in pastries and cooking. I (Mathilde) also studied hospitality and have always worked in restaurants. We are the most happy kids when discovering new tastes and restaurants in a foreign country :D

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

All the people we met on our way so far have made our journey more interesting and meaningful. Each time we meet new friends, we discover new stories and places. When we heard about CS we directly tried and our first experience was that good that we went back the next month to meet him again. Then we started to do it again because we're conviced that people is what make our experience better.
We just love to learn about new cultures, spend time discussing with people about life, society, having interesting conversations.

I experienced traveling when I was only a kid thanks to my family. I had the opportunity to develop this attention for other cultures, other countries and for people in general. I consider this extraordinary.
