Heeey !
We are two students who have been in a relationship for more than 2 years now.
I study law and my boyfriend Casper is following a biology course at university. I am fond of food and cooking and Casper is more into music (He is pretty good at playing guitar 😍)
Being very curious people, we would love to travel throughout the world, cultivate ourselves, meet new people, taste new food and more than all discover new and different cultures !!! 🌎
Both of us are trying to improve our way of life to consume less and then, take care as possible of the planet !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We had planned to go on a "rail" back-pack trip this Spring. It was be our first holidays using Interrail. Our trip started in Brittany, then direction Budapest (Hungary) → Kosice (Slovakia) → Poprad (and the Tatras)( Slovakia) → Bratislava (Slovakia) → Prague (Czech Republic) → Wroclaw (Poland) → Poznan (Poland) → Gdansk (Poland) → Metz (France) and then we went back home . Couchsurfing allowed us to be closer with the locals in each city and lived the daily life of each country. We were so happy to share our own culture through cooking french food (we cooked galettes in Poland for our host) , share anecdotes and deconstruct french stereotypes (We don't eat frog legs and escargots for dinner with a beret on our heads 🐸).

We want to discover french cities as well !! So for the autumn, direction Straaaasbourg !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, we visited Krakow in Autumn and it was a woderfuuuuul trip !

I (Mathilde) organised in 2016, a Christma's collection of toys for 84 refugee kids and it was an amazing experience. We prepared an after school snack with sweets and cakes, gave them few toys and 1 books each and they were so happy of that day !

Casper goes to his third Helfest !

And we did a wonderful hike in the High Tatras, Slovakia to the Green Lake and we also crossed the border between Hungary and Slovakia on foot and hitchhiking ! such great memories :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you some words in French and also share french recipes (or specially britanny ones) !
Casper can also plays some guitar with you.
