I'm a student in biology and I love traveling, I love discovering nature and different cultures or habits. Highlights of my travels usually include drinks with total strangers met in hostels, it's always great. I'm coming back to Europe after a one-year exchange in Singapore that I used to travel all around South East Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, as it's a great way to meet nice and friedly people, and couchsurfing is perfect for that. There's no better way to visit a city than through a local that wants to share his knowledge of the nice places to hang around! I signed up pretty recently but I'll start hosting as soon as I find a place to live for next year!

Interests

I love talking for hours about life, society, the future, history, culture, books, religion or whatever you want to share with me. I think I'm actually interested in everything. And all this is better with a glass of beer or wine, with good friends or total strangers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading (I can't take the metro or the bus without a book). A recent favourite is "The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared".
I'm always listening to music when I'm not talking (me having my headphones on is actually a sign that I'm working hard, not resting)
Movies: Nolan movies (Batman, memento, the prestige); old movies: 12 angry men, it's a wonderful life; V for Vendetta; sci fi movie and of course the occasional romantic comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone caving in a remote city of Laos, driven motorbikes in Benin and all around South East Asia, climbed up volcanoes in Indonesia and a bunch of other cool stuff.
Talking with random people in bus, train, or while repairing a broken motorbike in the middle of nowhere is always amazing and makes the traveling as enjoyable as the sightseeing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge of Paris, French wines and best places to have a beer. As well living near the metro (and not the RER, subtle difference yet so important when you're traveling in this lovely city). Well, all that when I'll have found a place to stay!
