Hello ! My name is Mathilde and I'm 23 years old. I come from Reunion Island, but I am currently in Clermont-Ferrand in France for my studies. I'm in a second-year of an engineering school of agronomy, and I'm really interested in sustainable development, territorial management and agro-ecological practices. This year I decided to take a gap year and achieve one of my ( too many? ;) ) dream : travel through South-East Asia, and discover other cultures, landscapes and people, making eco-volunteering ! I already traveled a bit in South America (Chile, Bolivia, Argentina) for six month, and it was such an amazing experience ! The kind which makes you want to travel again and again :) I like meeting new people and discover their way of life and ideas, hiking, make paragliding, play tennis, watch movies, dance, cook ( and eat) ... You'll understand, I'm a happy chap :) I'm sure I'll have many rewarding experiences with couchsurfers ! ;) I hope to see you soon!

The reason why I find the couchsurfing concept interesting, is because it allows the immersion within the country, and offers you the opportunity to share the diary of their inhabitants...a good way to try to understand his reality and to create bounds.
